OK--This is my first time 'blogging' on my new blog, so I decided I'd do it for my sister Lori- she's left me multiple messages about me sending her photos from our recent NYC 40th birthday celebration! WOW! Did we have fun?! It was so great! We have some memories that our grandchildren will hear about someday--ones that almost made us wet our pants we laughed so hard. Buying purses in China town -our mini van purse buying spree; Me getting chosen to participate in a Central Park side show while Lori laughed hysterically at me as she video taped the whole thing; Having frozen hot chocolate and yummy desserts at "THE" Serendipity table; Lori vomiting in the NYC cab - not so funny to Lori at the time!; Times Square, WICKED, Liberty Island and the 'fake' statue guy who charged us $5 (no make that $8) for a 'free' picture with him...and on and on. It was a great weekend and really couldn't have been one bit better (next time I don't want to miss my plane though!) Like Lori said, "the unspoken communication" we had was even perfect--just like the weather. So...how many years till I turn 40?? Happy Birthday Sis! October 9-12, 2008
